What is a therapist’s role?
The therapist will partner with you to understand your challenges, set goals, and help you grow. A therapist will not tell you what to do or how to feel; instead, the therapist will help you gain insight into your behaviors and thought patterns and offer coping skills and strategies to help you overcome challenges and concerns.
How does individual therapy work?

Individual therapy allows the therapist to tailor the sessions to the client’s specific needs and situations by creating an individualized treatment plan. Individual therapy is a true partnership: the therapist works with the client to help them establish goals, reach them, and thrive.

Our therapists help clients identify their goals and reframe their thought patterns surrounding those goals. The outcome is a direct, positive influence on the behaviors, hurdles, and patterns the client hopes to change. Clients can ultimately expect to gain insight into their core beliefs and how their subconscious thought patterns affect their emotions and subsequent behaviors. This awareness leads to decreased anxiety, improved quality of life, and long-lasting happiness.

How does couples therapy work?

The therapist will work with the couple to evaluate maladaptive behaviors that sabotage happiness and fulfillment within a relationship by fostering an efficient, promising synergy. Clients seeking couples therapy can count on a nurturing and neutral environment where both parties will feel genuinely heard.

This setting allows the therapist to facilitate intentional communication between a couple, leading to a meaningful change in the household. Couples therapy alleviates feelings of isolation and stress between a couple. Additionally, this form of therapy can examine self-esteem, boundary, and codependency issues. Addressing these issues leads to healthier communication and increased empathy.

Who benefits from therapy?
If you are ready to see a positive change in your life, therapy can help. Our goal is to help you overcome challenges and maximize your well-being.
Therapy sounds vulnerable. Is it okay to get emotional in sessions?
Yes. Therapy is a place where you can tackle challenges and difficult emotions. Our therapists will walk with you and make sure you feel supported.
Can your therapists prescribe medications?
No. Only psychiatric and medical providers can prescribe medications.
