My goal is to help clients manage life’s challenges.
When your emotional battery is drained, no charge is left to power up the other parts of your life. This can make it challenging to go about your day-to-day life, let alone manage other factors like anxiety, depression, relationships, behaviors, adjustments, and emotional regulation.
At the core of my counseling philosophy is my belief that mental and emotional health are key components to overall well-being. Therefore, when you work with me, I aim to help you learn more about your emotional and mental health and discover ways to keep your emotional battery healthy so you can thrive.
Using client-centered and strength-based approaches, I strive to create a safe therapeutic space without judgment so that you can focus on empowering yourself and reshaping what true well-being can look like in your life.
My favorite part of being a therapist is walking with you on your emotional and mental health journey to achieve self-love and self-empowerment. With experience working with marginalized populations, children, teens, and adults, I understand how to tailor proven therapeutic approaches to each client’s specific needs.
Here is information about my training.
I have a master’s degree in social work from Kean University and am a Licensed Social Worker (LSW) in New Jersey. From volunteering at food banks to my chosen profession, I have always been deeply invested in helping others through community service and my professional life as a clinician. I find joy in assisting others to grow in all areas of life.
Outside of the professional space…
I enjoy playing Scrabble with family and friends, learning new languages, watching C-drama shows, exploring bookstores and libraries, and watching the world around me from the swings at the park.
